As a photojournalist Hans Truöl specialized in winter sports photography & set new standards making him one of the most outstanding press & celebrity photographers of his time. One of his most renowned and unique photos was without doubt, the “Porsche Jump” aka “On taking a Short Cut”, which gained him international fame.

We take an artisan-style approach to all our printing, which is done exclusively using the giclee process and then finished by hand individually.

These fine antique children skis were made by the "Gebrüder Hammer" (Hammer brothers) in Erbach, Germany in the 1940's (the company was founded in Bad Mergentheim). This specific model is called "JUGEND" (Youth). They are in fine shape and the logo is clearly visible. The Hammer brothers started manufacturing skis in 1925 and in 1945 their brand became Erbacher Skis.
