As a photojournalist Hans Truöl specialized in winter sports photography & set new standards making him one of the most outstanding press & celebrity photographers of his time. One of his most renowned and unique photos was without doubt, the “Porsche Jump” aka “On taking a Short Cut”, which gained him international fame.

The skier is Austrian Ski Star Toni Sailer, who at age 20 won all three gold’s in alpine skiing at the 1956 Winter Olympics, held in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
