Vintage 1940's Children Skis & Poles
These are really an adorable & increasingly hard to find pair of vintage 1940's children skis & poles. They originate from "SPORT ARTIKEL VEB OBERROD", Oberrod being in a community in the Westerwaldkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The VEB stands for “Volkseigener Betrieb” (Publicly owned company). The bindings have been cleaned of heavy rust and the toe straps replaced. The 82 cm hickory ski poles are complete with leather hand straps and basket webbing on the double rattan rings. They are in excellent condition and will no doubt enhance your decor at your chalet/home children’s bedroom or any other room for that matter.
