Staub's "ALPINA" Skis (Fully Restored) & Hickory Poles
Beautifully restored, these complete 1930's vintage Swiss Staub "ALPINA" skis are an exceedingly rare find. The restored bindings were manufactured by Attenhofer and are the very famous "Alpina" model. The toe straps are the original ones & the heel straps are in excellent condition with brass rivets. Richard Staub started making skis in the early 1900's in Wetzikon (Zurich) and sold over 2800 pairs of skis and other "Staub" mountain sport articles to 38 sport shops. Besides the "ALPINA" model, other models included "ELITE", "TODI" & “SPECIAL”.
The poles are 125 cm in length and feature leather hand grips/straps in great condition. These are rarely seen fitted on wooden ski poles of this age. The double rattan baskets have been replaced with newer ones.
Only ships within Switzerland.
These classic wooden skis which were manufactured without steel edges have been carefully restored to (almost) their original condition and a great pair for collecting or to decorate your home/chalet decor with.
