Ludwig Leitner "Speed Skiing"
Ludwig “Luggi” Leitner was born in the Kleinwalstertal, Austria. He won the combined event (downhill, slalom and giant slalom) at the 1964 Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck, where the first place in combined still counted as World Championship gold. In this photo he is trying to break the World Speed record on the “Kilometro Lanciato” run in Cervinia, Italy by using an aerodynamic cone.
Unique, timeless and beautiful, our Hans Truol vintage ski prints speak of the golden era in the history of skiing but also make striking additions to modern decor. We offer our prints to order in a variety of sizes and finishes (Barite, canvas with mirrored edges, three panel "split-image" on canvas). Please consult the attachment for further details.
