These are a very scarce pair of 1940'S ERBA "DIXI" skis and are equipped with brand new ESS "ALLGAU" bindings. The skis were only used once or twice and later remounted with new bindings. The ERBA Ski & Holzwarrenfabrik started making skis in 1936 in the town of Erlenbach, Switzerland. The bindings were made by the "Allgaüer Skibeschläge Fabrik" (Josef Ess) in Sonthofen, Gemany.
